teaching
I come from multiple generations of educators, and I consider training clinicians to be a great honor and privilege. I have had the opportunity to teach and train a diverse array of people in helping professions—creative arts therapists, graduate students, social workers, mental health counselors—from novices to seasoned practitioners. I have taught courses on cross-cultural awareness and trauma-centered psychotherapy, and led workshops on multiple topics exploring how identity and trauma interact in the clinical space.
